We strive to provide superior dental care to kids, from infancy through adolescence, including children with special needs. Our excellent care enables each patient to achieve and maintain optimal oral health for a lifetime.
We believe every child is precious and treat each patient as if they were our own.
In providing pediatric dental care for your child, our goal is to create a warm, comfortable environment in which your child will understand the importance of practicing good dental hygiene habits, and put these habits into action from the start. In order to achieve this, we are dedicated to:
Our Dumfires office provides wall mounted TVs, fun prizes, balloons, digital X-rays and charting, and the ability to fill in your forms ahead of time so that we can time with your child during their appointment. Feel free to visit our office, we would love to meet you!
How Are Appointments Scheduled?
We try our best to accommodate our patients as much as possible when scheduling appointments. We have found that children with extensive dental work or preschool children are better to be seen early in the morning when they are fresher and can have a more positive experience. Some appointments may require the child to miss some school; however, these are considered excused absences. With continued care, appointments during school can be kept to a minimum.
Because we exclusively reserve your child’s appointment time, we request 24-hours notice if your child is unable to keep that appointment. Advanced notice enables us to schedule another patient in need of care. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment, but we ask for your help as a courtesy to all of our patients. Please fill out the form or call 703-221-4040 to schedule an appointment.
Can I stay with my child during their visit?
You are welcome to stay with your child during their initial exam. However, at future appointments, we encourage you to allow a member of our staff to accompany your child. We can typically establish a closer bond with your child when you are not present. We make this suggestion to gain your child’s confidence and help them overcome anxiety. We understand this may not work for every child, so you are always welcome to join your child in the treatment room at each appointment. We ask that any child not being treated remain in the waiting area with an adult.
